In a stunning turn of events, pop princess Taylor Swift turned the tables on rapper Kanye West after last week's awkward VMA moment.
Just 18 hours later, Kanye was in Dayton, Ohio, answering questions at a health care town meeting. As he outlined President Obama's much-maligned "Public Option," Swift entered and screamed "YOU LIE!" from the back of the room.
The peaceful meeting erupted into a melee and West was quickly escorted out for safety reasons. The front row, populated entirely by narcoleptics, attempted to restore order but was quickly felled by a bout of afternoon naps.
On her blog, Swift claims she had been planning to protest the meeting anyway, and didn't know Kanye would be there till she pulled up outside and saw 14 white stretch limos.
West told reporters he found the outburst "offensive... I mean, health care is on everyone's mind these days. We need to get a universal health care plan together so people can stop worrying where they're going to get their insulin, or whether their kids have swine fly vaccine, or whether their Mothers can get cut-rate plastic surgery from a quack." When pressed about the "liar" incident, he added, "look, I'm not a liar, I'm an arrogant jerk. That's the truth."
Later, South Carolina Governor stepped up to the podium and managed to calm the crowd, concluding the meeting with a lengthy explanation of the Argentinean health care system.
